Red x0D thing

Hello,

I'm playing with Cosmos thing since one day and so far it's a great thing to easily develop your own OS in a fun way!

However, I've got a problem with it. When the text reaches bottom of the screen, red "x0D" appears in upper left corner of the screen and my entire system hangs. Is there any way to fix this issue?

It happened to me too. You're using VMWarePlayer, em I right?

This is a CPU exception, this particular one is a General Protection Fault (GPF). (Looked up on the table here: http://geezer.osdevbrasil.net/osd/intr/index.htm )

Could you tell me shat I should do to avoid this CPU exception?

You probably need to use the DevKit instead, as I would suspect the method your calling when the exception occurs has to do with scrolling the console?

Yeah, it happens exactly at console scrolling...

Then you need to use the DevKit, as that's an issue that's been fixed since the latest release.

The last question from me is how do I switch do a devkit. It might be a silly question, but the only thing I've been using was a default Visual Studio cosmos solution.
