Benchmarking Cosmos Against Other OS's

Has anyone performed any benchmarking on Cosmos?

I would like to know how Cosmos would compare to something like a fast Linux distro.

How would something like Cosmos stand against a Linux build used for high frequency trading? Could Cosmos be used or would it be too slow?

If I wanted to benchmark it, what would I have to do? I've never really benchmarked anything, I've only seen results posted on websites.

No.

It would be dog dead slow. Cosmos isn't optimized yet and is focused
purely currently on ease of debugging and simplicity of code. We are a
long way off from considering optimizations.

Not currently. Maybe in a year or so.

what about benchmarking Cosmos? How would I do that? What would I use to do it?

Simple code and timing - but Im telling you its not ready for primetime.
We dont have a functioning GC yet for example... Cosmos is still
academic at this point.
