Using Cosmos in real mode instead of protected mode?

Feb 13, 2012 at 4:48 PM

Is there any way at the moment to run Cosmos in real mode instead of protected mode so that I can make BIOS calls? I'd like to try and write some drivers specific to my computer, and I need the BIOS (duh). Is there anything I can change in the source, or is protected mode the only way to go?

Okay, but even in protected mode, is there any way whatsoever to make a BIOS call?
