Compiler failure

These 2 simple instructions do not compile:

var ints = new int[] { 0, 1, 2, 3 };

var str = String.Join( "", ints );

Error is something like (I could not delocalize the message in english so this is my translation from italian): 'this' type cannot be in turn an interface.

What's the problem? Thank you.

interfaces are not supported, and probably the compiler picks the extension method Join(this string, IEnumerable)..
