Are the CPUBus methods the same as getting / setting an IOPort Byte, Word or DWord?

Yes they are. They are just like memory writes but to the I/O address space.

CPUBus methods are the low-level method calls mplementing the in/out instructions, IOPort classes are a bit higher-level, and allow us to do security checks..
