Cannot Find: Microsoft.CSharp.targets

Mar 21, 2009 at 6:43 PM

Hello, I've just found your project and it looks very interesting but unfortunately it doesn't seem to want to load. I have installed the kit as the website specified but when I try to create a new boot project in VS2005 it tells me:

C:\Users\XXXXXX\AppData\Local\Temp\npydstej.qgl\Temp\CosmosBoot3.csproj(45,11): The importet project "C:\Microsoft.CSharp.targets" was not found. Confirm that the path in the <Import> declaration is correct, and that the file exists on the disk.

I had a quick scout round on codeplex and the project's website but this is barely mentioned and I saw no fix for it. Any ideas on how to resolve this?

Thanks DuroSoft, this is exactly what the problem was! I tried it in C# Express 2008 and it seems to load fine :)
