Help with words and letters in VGAScreen

Hi, is there a way for me to draw letters in VGA Mode without making my own fonts? Is there something I can do NOT to have to set each pixel of each letter individually?

use arrays l so

0, 0, 1, 0

0, 1, 1, 0,

0, 0, 1, 0,

0, 0, 1, 0,

1, 1, 1, 1

im sure you can figure out how to use loops to make stuff like this into pictures

Nevermind, Thanks anyway. Is there a way to add a font engine to Cosmos? I have requested to join this project but what do I need? I guess only another .cs file, Maybe FontEngine.cs. I have VS2010, so no MS5.

I want to help others by making a font engine for them.

Anyways, for now, I suggest people download RealWorld Cursor Editor, use that to make an 8x8 letter. It's great as it has pixel editing, just copy the stuff over. Much easier that using arrays, in my opinion.

Thats how graphics works.... each pixel has to be set or supporting routines created.

Re joining - Matthijs handles those issues. He's been offline a few days but should be around again this week.
