Case Switches?

Mar 2, 2012 at 2:40 PM

Been dealing with Cosmos now for some time, and ive come across a inherit problem...

Case switches are limiting how many cases you can have inside them!

This is a pretty big problem for people writing CLI that have commands to read, when the user can only input 4 commands!

Any solution to this issue?

PS: Whats the progress on ARM development? I think Cosmos should focus on that, because it allows all the users of Cosmos, to develop for devices like Raspberry Pi

Case switches problem: Just use if and else if.

ARM: Needs a compiler rework to make it easier to add this architecture, plus we have bigger things to do ATM.

A lot of things we need to do, but we need more coders...

regarding the case thing: c# actually emits if-statements when just having 2-3 string cases. with more it uses List<string> and StringComparer, which we dont support yet..
